Make Your Heart Race

The Wonks love cardio workouts, so it’s fitting that today is Valentine’s Day and this month is Heart Month. Last night we spent Valentine’s Day eve at the annual League of United Latin American Citizens Awards Gala where the wonderful folks at Walgreens hosted us at their table.

In addition to giving away some awesome first aid kits, Walgreens noted the importance of Heart Month and making sure your ticker is working properly. During the month of Feburary you can visit your local Walgreens pharmacy for free blood pressure testing. For each blood pressure test conducted this month, Walgreens will donate $1 to the American Heart Association, so you’ll be doing some good while staying healthy.

So after the candy hearts and flowers are gone, go for a run or check out a spin class – anything to keep your heart racing (and in shape!).
